The panel moderated by the Hon. Sallie Kim, features leading advocates for women’s equity, Elizabeth Kristen, Director Gender Equity & LGBTQ Rights Program, Legal Aid at Work, Jeanifer Parsigian, Partner, Winston & Strawn LLP (legal team for the Women’s National Soccer Team) and Kim Turner, JD, Advisory Council Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative (BAWSI), who will address continuing challenges, developments and advancements to achieve parity for women and girls in sports using Title IX and other tools, including litigation and social action.

This will be an in-person event only hosted in the Thelton E. Henderson Ceremonial Courtroom. The event is additionally co-sponsored by the Northern District of California Historical Society and the Alameda County Bar Association. 

1 hour of California MCLE credit will be offered for Elimination of Bias. The panel will be followed by a reception.
