Mary Murphy Schroeder is a Senior United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. One of only six women to graduate from the University of Chicago Law School in 1965, and later the first female Chief Judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, she has been a role model for women and lawyers generally throughout her career.
